Who I AM

Deep SkyLab is where astrophotography meets real-world testing. I’m Francisco an enthusiast learning in public—running fair, repeatable experiments on gear and techniques so people don’t waste their rare clear nights.

Everything is built around one idea: results over hype. When a comparison matters, I show the rules and the receipts—same target, same night—with side-by-sides and clear takeaways you can actually use.

What we make

Deep SkyLab content is organized around three recurring lanes:

  • Mythbusting: Real-sky tests that separate “internet wisdom” from measurable improvements.

  • Astro Oddities: Quirky tools, weird workflows, and underrated gear—tested like it matters.

  • 3D Printed Tech: Practical prints that solve annoying field problems and make setups cleaner, faster, and more reliable.

  • Hardware Reviews: It it great, or is it hype?

Our testing philosophy

We keep things beginner-friendly without dumbing it down:

  • Explain the “why” behind each step (not just what buttons to press).

  • Apples-to-apples processing whenever possible—so we’re comparing hardware reality, not editing magic.

  • Field reality included: if something is finicky, confusing, or fails—viewers see it, and brands get honest feedback.

Audience snapshot

Deep SkyLab reaches a highly targeted audience of astronomy and imaging enthusiasts—beginners leveling up, plus experienced folks who care about practical workflows and clean data.
